About
It started two doors down.
Silvermine Digital exists because of one antiques shop in Ridgefield that was doing everything right except the part that lives on a screen.
The shop had a beautiful storefront, a real following, and a design practice with actual clients. It also had no website, no Google listing, a personal email address on every invoice, and a payment system being used at maybe a tenth of what it could do. None of that was a failure of effort. It was a question of time — running a shop takes all of it, and nobody gets a spare afternoon to sit down and learn how Google Business Profile verification works.
So we fixed it. And then it became obvious that the same six problems were sitting inside almost every independent shop within twenty miles.
That's the whole business. We set up the five things every local business needs, we set them up properly and in your name, and then we keep them accurate so they don't quietly rot over the next two years.
The difference is that we drive there.
Most agencies that do this work are a contact form and a Zoom link. That works fine if you're comfortable managing a relationship entirely through email. A lot of shop owners aren't, and they shouldn't have to be. We sit down at the counter, build things where you can see them, and hand them over face to face — with the logins written down on paper if that's what you'd prefer.
We also don't hold anything hostage. Every domain, listing, account, and customer list we touch is registered in your name with your email as the owner. If you decide to stop working with us, nothing breaks and nothing gets held back. That's not generosity — it's just the only version of this that we'd want if we were on the other side of the counter.
Who you'll be working with
Grayson Meyer
Founder. Also the person who answers the phone, does the visit, builds the site, and comes back to teach you how it works.
Silvermine Digital is deliberately small. When you call, you get the person who built your setup and remembers what's in it — not a rotating queue and not a ticket number.
That puts a natural cap on how many shops we take on at once, which is fine. We'd rather do a handful of these properly than a hundred of them badly.
